Hypertherm Associates is interviewing for a Senior Operations Planner who will coordinate with the Planning, Procurement, Customer Service, Warehouse, and Production teams to plan the functions within the Waterjet business unit.

Forecast, Plan, Deliver: Seamlessly plan material requirements for forecasted orders, ensuring every production demand is met with precision.
Orchestrate Manufacturing Magic: Generate work orders and coordinate the flow in manufacturing cells, fine-tuning the rhythm of productivity.
Innovate Inventory: Develop and refine supply replenishment methods. Adjust Kanban quantities like a maestro to maintain the perfect inventory harmony.
Strategize and Streamline: Employ lean planning techniques to minimize inventory while meeting market expectations for lead times and service levels.
Expedite Excellence: Drive shortage resolutions, expedite processes, and communicate proactively, keeping all stakeholders in the loop with real-time ERP updates.
Analyze and Optimize: Set the stage for flawless production by analyzing supply data, setting item attributes, and ensuring a smooth supply chain.
Solve and Evolve: Use your problem-solving prowess to identify issues before they arise and conduct thorough root cause analyses on inventory discrepancies.
Collaborate and Conquer: Engage with a diverse team of stakeholders, communicate effectively, and help us achieve our business goals through your expertise.
Who you are and the experience you bring:
2-4 years of experience in planning
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
2 years of experience using ERP within a manufacturing environment
Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Excel
Strong written and verbal presentation and communication skills
Effective negotiation and collaboration skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to influence others
Knowledge of and experience in manufacturing environment with engineered parts
Preferred experience that differentiates you:
B.S. Business Management or related field with 4+ years of experience
Knowledge of Oracle ERP
Knowledge of industrial equipment manufacturing
Knowledge of Lean/JIT production
APICS-CPIM

This is the base pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire.
Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors.
