Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Oracle DBA to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Oracle database engineering, GoldenGate multi-master replication, performance tuning, and production operations and a proven ability to design, implement, and support resilient enterprise database platforms that meet business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, implement, enhance, and support Oracle database systems aligned to business goals.
• Architect and administer GoldenGate multi-master replication, including classic and integrated replicat.
• Monitor and tune database performance, and execute backup and recovery strategies.
• Install and upgrade Oracle software and related components, and automate with scripting.
• Troubleshoot complex replication, performance, and availability issues and drive root-cause resolution.
• Partner with operations teams to maximize system availability and reliability.
• Provide backup, restore, and replication support for production databases.
• Administer users, roles, and database security per enterprise standards.
• Create and maintain documentation for policies, procedures, configurations, logs, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Lead moderately complex projects and provide work direction on special initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years as an Oracle DBA with production support experience.
• Expertise with Oracle GoldenGate, including classic and integrated replicat implementations, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Strong skills in database design, replication design, performance monitoring and tuning, and high availability.
• Proficiency in backup and recovery strategies and tools, including RMAN.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle installation, patching, and upgrades across environments.
• Scripting proficiency for automation and operations, such as Bash, Shell, or Python.
• Knowledge of user management, roles, auditing, and database security standards.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and apply sound judgment within established practices and policies.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with multi-master topologies and conflict detection and resolution in GoldenGate.
• Familiarity with capacity planning, observability, and incident management practices.
