Senior Paid Media Specialist - Boston, MA

We are seeking candidates for a Senior Paid Media Specialist position with a leading investment management firm located in Boston, MA. This position will partner with internal marketing teams and an external media agency to plan, launch, optimize, and report on paid social campaigns, with a primary focus on LinkedIn.This individual will The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience with LinkedIn Campaign Manager, campaign optimization, audience targeting, lead generation, performance reporting, and agency management.

This is a 12+ month contract position that will pay $64-74/hr (depending on experience) within a 40-hour workweek. This position supports a hybrid work model, onsite 3 days per week and remote 2 days per week. 

Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize global paid social campaigns, primarily across LinkedIn.

• Develop campaign strategies, including audience targeting, campaign structure, creative testing, budgets, and optimization plans.

• Partner with an external media agency to oversee campaign execution, media plans, pacing, and performance.

• Monitor campaign performance and recommend adjustments to audiences, budgets, bids, creative, messaging, and placements.

• Serve as a subject matter expert on LinkedIn Campaign Manager, ad formats, audience segmentation, lead generation, and conversion tracking.

• Develop and execute test-and-learn strategies to improve campaign performance.

• Analyze campaign results and provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

• Partner with internal marketing, creative, analytics, compliance, and regional teams to support campaign execution.

• Ensure campaigns meet brand, compliance, legal, and data privacy requirements.

• Support campaign tracking, reporting, UTMs, conversion measurement, and performance dashboards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, Advertising, or related field required

• 7+ years of experience in paid social, paid media, digital marketing, or performance marketing.

• Experience in financial services, asset management, B2B marketing, or another regulated industry is HIGHLY preferred.

• Deep hands-on experience with LinkedIn Campaign Manager and LinkedIn advertising.

• Strong experience managing and optimizing paid social campaigns.

• Experience partnering with and managing external media agencies.

• Strong understanding of audience targeting, lead generation, campaign measurement, and performance optimization.

• Experience analyzing metrics such as CTR, CPC, CPM, CPL, conversion rates, and ROI.

• Experience with campaign tracking, UTMs, conversion tags, pixels, and reporting dashboards.

• Strong analytical, communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience with other paid social platforms, including Meta, Reddit, X, or YouTube, is a plus.
