Job Details
Handle complex patent and intellectual property litigation matters.
Represent clients in federal district courts, the International Trade Commission (ITC), PTAB proceedings, and appellate matters before the Federal Circuit.
Develop litigation strategies and case theories.
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, briefs, and other litigation documents.
Conduct legal research and analyze complex technical and legal issues.
Participate in depositions, hearings, trial preparation, and appeals.
Collaborate closely with partners, associates, technical experts, and clients.
Manage substantive case responsibilities with increasing autonomy.
Contribute to trial and appellate advocacy efforts across multiple industries and technologies.
Support business objectives through exceptional client service and legal analysis.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.
Active attorney license in a U.S. jurisdiction.
Eligible to waive into the D.C. Bar or willing and eligible to sit for the D.C. Bar Exam.
6+ years of patent and/or intellectual property litigation experience in a law firm environment.
Strong foundation in patent law and intellectual property litigation.
Outstanding academic credentials.
Ability to manage sophisticated legal matters independently.
Excellent legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
