Position Summary:

Senior Peer Educators assist with the coordination of FYE and Center for Student Success programs, provide leadership for active peer educators, including supplemental trainings, monthly meetings, and individual check-ins as well provide general office assistance and support to FYE and Center for Student Success.

Essential Functions:
• Coordinate monthly Peer Educator meeting during the fall and spring semester. Each Senior Peer Educator will coordinate 3 meetings.
• Work with fellow Senior Peer Educator to script weekly emails for the entire peer educator cohort.
• Assist in recruitment of future Peer Educators.
• With FYE staff, plan and execute the Peer Educator training program during the spring sem.
• Meet weekly with FYE staff.
• Position will work 10 hour per week for the duration of the academic year.

Non-Essential Functions:
Provide general office assistance as needed for FYE and Center for Student Success. This can include phone calls and other typical office work.

Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be an active peer educator with at least one year of service as a peer educator.

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of basic computer skills.
Outgoing, reliable, and professional.
Ability to interact well with others.
Effective communication skills
Must be an independent worker and self-motivated.
