    Position: Senior Pega Software Engineer

    Location: Alpharetta, GA -Hybrid (2 days/week)

    JD:

    Mandatory Skills-PEGA Senior Systems Architect (SSA) Certification, PEGA Case Management, PEGA Data Management, PEGA Integration, PEGA Decision Management,

    PEGA User Experience (UI/UX), PEGA Background Processing, PEGA Security, PEGA Systems Administration, Azure Cloud/PEGA Deployment on Azure, Legacy System Integration, External System Integration, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Agile Methodology

    • Performs as a key contributor to an engineering team that builds and supports exceptional products that provide innovative solutions to challenging business use cases, existing systems, and operational problems.
    • Collaborates closely with Engineering leadership, Product Managers, Designers, Test Automation, and other teams and business units to define, prioritize, sequence, and scope business and functional requirements and drive results.
    • Participates in architectural design, system analysis, and programming activities on application software; this may often require independent research and study.
    • Develops high-quality and production-ready software by using best-practice that are maintainable, scalable, responsive, and secure with an end-to-end mindset from conception to delivery and production support, owning specifications, quality, release deployments, and monitoring of production health.
    • Participates in code reviews and follows industry best practices.
    • Maintains knowledge, and ensures competency and compliance with policies and procedures, to be the technical expert while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

    Required skills:

    • Must be a certified PEGA Senior Systems Architect. Lead System Architect is a BIG plus.
    • Must be strong in Pega platform Case Management, Data Management & Integration, Decision Management, User Experience, Background Processing, Security & Systems Administration.
    • Bachelor or Master in Computer Science and/or equivalent technical education and experience.
    • 10+ years of experience designing and developing highly scalable and secure Pega Applications, Healthcare, and/or Customer Service capability experience is a plus.
    • Experience with developing and deploying Pega applications on Azure or similar cloud platform
    • Must be a certified PEGA Senior Systems Architect. Lead System Architect is a BIG plus.
    • Must be strong in Pega platform Case Management, Data Management & Integration, Decision Management, User Experience, Background Processing, Security & Systems Administration.
    • Ability to understand business plans and apply that information to the development of an IT business case.
    • Anticipates problems, resistance, or likely objections and takes action to resolve them
    • Ability to, guide, train, and mentor associate engineers
    • Proficient in organizational processes as well as capable of assessing and initiating a change in such processes.
    • Experience integrating legacy systems with the Pega Platform
    • Experience with Root Cause Analysis in the Pega ecosystem to quickly address and fix system issues
    • Ability to integrate with external systems of record with the Pega Platform
    • Ability to understand an existing business process and collaboratively develop a more efficient and automated workflow
    • Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills
    • Knowledge of agile development methodologies
    • Ability to develop and maintain key vendor relationships with a focus on technology currency and best practices
    • Life-long learner, process improver
    • Skilled in developing quantitative cost/benefit analysis to measure improvement
