Description

Senior Plumbing Designer (Revit) Industrial and Semiconductor Facilities

Senior Plumbing Designer (Revit) Industrial and Semiconductor Facilities About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Plumbing Designer to lead the design, layout, and routing of industrial plumbing systems for large-scale advanced manufacturing facilities, including semiconductor plants.

This is a hands-on production role, not a management position. You will be the one doing the design work: developing drawings, routing systems, and executing packages with minimal supervision. If you are a producer who takes pride in putting out clean, accurate, code-compliant design work, this role is built for you.

What You Will Do
  • Lead the design, layout, and routing of industrial plumbing systems

  • Develop P&IDs, plans, sections, and construction details

  • Perform design tasks across planning, concept, and detailed design phases

  • Coordinate directly with clients, contractors, and internal disciplines

  • Apply expert knowledge of plumbing systems and codes to ensure quality and accuracy

Occasional travel for onsite work is expected in late 2026.

What You Need
  • High school diploma or GED

  • 8+ years of AutoCAD design experience

  • 4+ years of Revit design experience

  • 5+ years of industrial plumbing design experience, including layout and routing

  • A primary plumbing design role within the last 5 years

  • Strong working knowledge of US plumbing codes, specifically the International Plumbing Code (IPC) and Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC)

Nice to Have
  • Experience in complex industrial environments such as semiconductor manufacturing, cleanrooms, or data centers. Experience in pharmaceutical, educational, or general industrial facilities is also welcome

  • Technical or associate's degree in a relevant discipline

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Advanced problem solving, planning, and analytical skills

  • Demonstrated ability to independently execute design packages with minimal supervision

Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
