Senior Print Production Specialist

Schedule: Standard hours are 9:00 AM 6:00 PM, but flexibility is required as operations run from 7:00 AM 6:00 PM

Overview
This position will support managing a high-volume retail print center while supporting the Senior Site Manager in leading a team of four additional FTEs. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on print production, graphic design, document production, and office experience, along with previous leadership or supervisory experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of a high-volume retail print center.
• Support the Senior Site Manager in leading and training a team of four FTEs.
• Perform hands-on print production, copying, scanning, finishing, and document preparation.
• Operate advanced printing and production equipment and handle complex print jobs.
• Perform wide-format printing and lamination.
• Use Fiery and other print-production systems to manage print jobs.
• Create, edit, and prepare print-ready files using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Work with various file formats, including PDF, JPEG, PNG, and other graphic files.
• Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook for daily operations.
• Troubleshoot equipment, software, file-format, and production issues.
• Perform quality checks to ensure accurate and high-quality finished products.
• Deliver classroom and informal training sessions to employees.
• Set and prioritize realistic production and operational goals.
• Manage multiple projects and production requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Stay updated on current print technology, equipment, and industry trends.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of related print production or commercial/retail print experience.
• Retail or commercial print shop experience.
• Experience with wide-format printing and lamination.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with Fiery or similar print-production software.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or team-lead experience.
• Experience operating advanced printing equipment and performing complex jobs.
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and production-management skills.
• Experience delivering classroom or informal employee training.
  • Ability to effectively set goals, lead, and train employees.
• Similar commercial, retail, or high-volume print production environments
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
