Senior Product Designer, GREF - Global Product

The Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) organization is looking for an experienced Product Designer to design new employee experience tools and improve upon existing systems. GREF is responsible for Amazon's corporate office portfolio, creating the spaces that inspire Amazonians to make history. The globally diverse team manages Amazon's corporate offices in more than 60 countries. GREF provides real estate transactions expertise, business partnering, space and occupancy planning, design and construction, capital investment program management, facility maintenance, and operations all contributing to the employee experience and leveraging places and programs to enable culture to thrive at Amazon. Within GREF, the Product Design team designs tools for both internal GREF employees and all Amazon employees as the end customer.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the end-to-end UX design of digital tools that help over 1 million employees globally as they navigate the office and commute to work. You will collaborate cross-functionally with UX Research, Product, Software, and Business partners to deliver customer obsessed design specifications for products. This high visibility role will impact the success of the GREF organization. The position requires strong customer centric strategic planning, analytical skills, problem solving, and excellent communication skills.

The ideal candidate will lead with curiosity and work collaboratively to design new, simple tools that help employees with day to day navigation and services in the office, and delight customers with ease of use. A track record of delivering results in a fast paced, dynamic environment is a must. Being self-driven, adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities is a key to success. Key job responsibilities

• Collaborate with design leadership and cross-functional partners throughout the product development lifecycle, from problem definition through launch and iteration
• Partner with designers, product managers, engineers, researchers, and other stakeholders to drive concepts from ideation to implementation
• Dive deep into space-planning customers, workflows, and use cases to identify unmet needs, pain points, and opportunities for improvement
• Leverage customer research, usability findings, feedback, and quantitative data to inform and influence product requirements, priorities, and design decisions
• Act as an active voice for customers, advocating for their needs while balancing business objectives, technical feasibility, and product constraints
• Think big to simplify complex processes and translate ambiguous customer problems into intuitive, scalable design solutions
• Take ownership of design outcomes by proactively identifying gaps, validating solutions, incorporating feedback, and iterating based on customer and business impact
• Clearly articulate design rationale, communicate trade-offs, and build alignment across cross-functional partners
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate the design process
