Senior Product Engineer

Company: Amber Semiconductor Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Product Engineer to join our Analog Semiconductor team and lead the product engineering lifecycle for innovative Power Management ICs . In this role, you will bridge product development, manufacturing, test, quality, and customers to ensure high-performance, high-yield products are successfully introduced into high-volume production. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in analog and mixed signal semiconductor product engineering, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of driving new product introductions, product characterization, and production readiness. Key Responsibilities: Own the product engineering activities throughout the product lifecycle, from new product concept through release and into production Collaborate with cross organizational teams to ensure successful product release. Develop and execute product characterization plans to validate device performance across process, voltage, and temperature (PVT) conditions. Analyze production, wafer sort, and final test data to improve yield, quality, and manufacturing efficiency. Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for yield excursions, reliability issues, and customer-return investigations. Optimize test coverage, guard bands, and production test limits to improve product quality and reduce manufacturing cost. Own product quality metrics including yield, defect density, customer returns, and reliability performance. Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for manufacturing excursions, quality issues, and customer complaints using structured problem-solving methodologies Ensure compliance with customer, industry, and regulatory quality requirements. Work closely with customers and field application engineers to resolve technical issues and support product launches. Lead cross-functional improvement initiatives to enhance product robustness, manufacturability, and overall customer satisfaction. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.
