The Role

We are looking for a dynamic leader who enjoys solving complex demand-supply matching problems. This is a highly strategic role, where you will you will own products that make the right capacity planning decisions balancing a diverse set of business metrics. .

As the leader for this domain, you will set long-term strategy and vision, collaborate with multiple cross functional stakeholders, develop scalable mechanism to expand our products world-wide and deliver products and solutions that delight delivery partners.

The right candidate will possess a well-rounded product background and a track record on defining and launching large products / programs. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done. You will be able to support your team in anticipating bottlenecks, providing escalation management, anticipating and making tradeoffs, and balancing the business needs versus technical constraints. Maturity, high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent and leadership are essential to success in this role.

Key job responsibilities

Specifically, the PM will:

  1. Define a multi-year product vision and strategy to meet the needs of various businesses we support.

  2. Develop and manage high quality product roadmaps to realize the product vision.

  3. Manage prioritization and trade-off between regulatory constraints, time to market, cost, scale, and delivery partner experience.

  4. Create program goals and related metrics, track progress and own business reviews with business leadership and key stakeholders.

  5. Evangelize product vision among multiple Amazon teams and influence them to deliver on specific capabilities needed to accomplish team's goals.

  6. Work closely with engineering, science and other stakeholders to build and innovate in this space.
