Modivcare is looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager, Healthcare Automation – Eligibility & Benefits to join our team. As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead the strategy, development, and execution of healthcare automation capabilities focused on eligibility, benefits, plan configuration, and the ingestion and management of plan and benefit information. You will partner across product, engineering, architecture, operations, compliance, data, and client-facing teams to deliver scalable, automation-first solutions that improve member access, operational efficiency, compliance, and downstream data quality while supporting the company’s strategic goals.

In this highly visible role, you will shape products that directly impact how members access care and transportation while enabling healthcare organizations to operate more efficiently. Your work will help modernize complex healthcare workflows, improve data quality, reduce administrative burden, and deliver technology solutions that create measurable value for members, clients, providers, and internal teams.

This role…

Product Vision and Strategy

  • Own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution for healthcare automation solutions supporting eligibility, benefits, plan configuration, and encounter readiness.

  • Develop automation-first and AI-enabled capabilities that improve operational efficiency, data quality, compliance, and customer outcomes.

  • Partner across product domains to ensure eligibility and benefit capabilities support compliant ride decisioning and connect members with the appropriate care and transportation services.

  • Mentor Product Managers and foster strategic product thinking across the team.

Product Performance and Customer Insights

  • Define product success metrics and use analytics to measure automation, operational performance, data quality, customer adoption, and business value.

  • Engage customers, operations, engineering, compliance, data, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities and translate complex healthcare workflows into scalable product capabilities.

  • Lead market research, competitive analysis, customer discovery, and user research to guide product strategy and roadmap decisions.

Product Delivery

  • Lead product discovery, backlog management, roadmap planning, prioritization, and Agile delivery.

  • Define clear, testable requirements for product capabilities, including business rules, data ingestion, workflow automation, exception handling, reporting, and integrations.

  • Partner with engineering, architecture, design, compliance, and data teams to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant solutions.

  • Monitor delivery progress, manage risks and dependencies, and continuously improve products based on customer feedback and measurable outcomes.

Go-to-Market and Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, operations, customer success, and training teams to support successful product launches and adoption.

  • Align cross-functional stakeholders around product priorities, resolve competing priorities, and drive continuous improvement across products and processes.

  • Identify and mitigate product, operational, regulatory, and data-related risks while ensuring appropriate governance, auditability, and compliance.

  • May lead projects and perform other duties as assigned.

We are interested in speaking with individuals with the following…

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Ten (10) plus years of product management, enterprise product management, healthcare technology product management, or related experience.

  • Healthcare technology experience required; eligibility and benefits, payer operations, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, claims, encounters, authorization, or healthcare data experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience delivering automation-first, AI-enabled, rules-based, workflow, platform, or data-ingestion solutions.

  • Experience working within a technical product organization alongside engineering, architecture, compliance, operations, data, and business stakeholders.

  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Figma, Aha!, Amplitude, Tableau, or similar product management, analytics, and design tools.

  • Marketing experience preferred.

  • Scrum/Agile certification preferred.

  • Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience evaluating products, markets, customer needs, and operational performance.

  • Proven ability to translate complex healthcare business rules, regulatory requirements, and operational processes into scalable product capabilities.

  • Demonstrated experience using data to identify automation opportunities, define measurable outcomes, and improve operational performance.

  • Strong understanding of Agile product development methodologies.

  • Excellent collaboration, stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills.

  • Ability to prioritize competing initiatives and solve complex problems with minimal supervision.

  • Strong technical acumen and the ability to effectively partner with engineering, architecture, and data teams.

  • Experience decomposing complex product capabilities into epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

  • Financial, strategic, and project management skills with a customer-focused mindset.

  • Strong understanding of user experience principles and product discovery.

  • Adaptability, emotional intelligence, and the ability to influence without direct authority.

Salary: $133,300–170,000

This role is bonus eligible based on individual and company performance.
