ABOUT THE POSITION

Upbound is seeking a Senior Product Manager – Marketing Enablement to lead the product strategy and capabilities that power modern marketing and customer engagement across our lines of business. This role sits at the intersection of Product, Marketing, Technology, Data, and our lines of business, translating marketing strategy and customer needs into scalable enterprise capabilities. The ideal candidate is a strategic product leader who understands digital marketing, customer data, personalization, experimentation, and emerging AI capabilities—and can bring teams together to turn those opportunities into measurable customer and business outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own the Marketing Enablement Product Strategy – Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for shared marketing capabilities across Upbound and its lines of business.
• Build Modern Marketing Capabilities – Lead product initiatives across MarTech, customer identity and data, personalization, experimentation, marketing automation, and AI-enabled marketing.
• Connect Marketing and Technology – Translate marketing strategies and customer opportunities into scalable products, platforms, and technical capabilities.
• Partner Across the Enterprise – Work across Marketing, Product, Engineering, Data, Analytics, and our lines of business to identify shared needs, establish priorities, and drive alignment.
• Improve the Customer Journey – Create more relevant and personalized experiences across acquisition, conversion, engagement, retention, and re-engagement.
• Drive Experimentation & Measurement – Establish a test-and-learn mindset using experimentation, analytics, and customer insights to continuously improve experiences and marketing effectiveness.
• Deliver Measurable Outcomes – Define success metrics and demonstrate impact through improved conversion, engagement, retention, marketing efficiency, and customer lifetime value.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• 5+ years of Product Management, Digital Product, Marketing Technology, or related experience.
• Experience owning product strategy, roadmaps, and complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, customer acquisition, lifecycle marketing, and customer engagement.
• Experience with MarTech platforms, customer identity/data, CRM/CDP, personalization, marketing automation, or experimentation platforms.
• Understanding of how AI and machine learning can improve marketing, personalization, customer insights, content, and decision-making.
• Experience partnering closely with Engineering, Data, Analytics, and Marketing teams.
• Experience working across multiple brands, business units, or stakeholder groups is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to connect product investments to measurable business outcomes.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills.Ability to navigate ambiguity, influence without direct authority, and bring diverse teams together around a shared strategy.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

This Senior Product Manager will help Upbound create a more connected, intelligent, and scalable approach to marketing and customer engagement. Success means establishing a clear Marketing Enablement product strategy, creating shared capabilities that can be leveraged across our lines of business, and using data, AI, personalization, and experimentation to deliver more relevant customer experiences and measurable business results. Most importantly, this role will help shift Marketing Enablement from a collection of individual tools and requests toward a strategic product ecosystem that creates leverage across Upbound.
