Client Overview:
Our client is a privately held medical device company. They are currently looking to add a Senior Product Manager, Medical Device Aesthetics to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$145k - $195k

Position Overview:
The Senior Product Manager, Medical Device Aesthetics owns the commercial performance, growth trajectory, and strategic direction of a designated product category throughout the U.S. and Canadian markets. In this role, the individual acts as the central driver of category strategy and execution, collaborating closely with Sales, Marketing, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory, Operations, Service teams, physicians, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to expand market adoption, uncover growth opportunities, and meet business goals. The Senior Product Manager, Medical Device Aesthetics spearheads significant cross-functional projects, acts as the go-to expert for the product category, and supports the Director of Product Management in carrying out broader portfolio strategies. This is a fully on-site role, 5 days a week with up to 30 - 40% travel.

Responsibilities of the Senior Product Manager, Medical Device Aesthetics:
  • Product Category Leadership:
    • As Senior Product Manager, Medical Device Aesthetics, own the performance, growth, and market adoption of assigned products and therapies.
    • Develop and execute annual business plans, commercialization strategies, and growth initiatives.
    • Identify opportunities for market expansion, specialty development, customer adoption, and competitive differentiation.
    • Monitor business performance, customer feedback, market trends, and competitive activity.
  • Commercialization & Market Development:
    • In this capacity, the Senior Product Manager, Medical Device Aesthetics leads major product launches, product enhancements, clinical initiatives, and commercial programs.
    • Develop product positioning, messaging, value propositions, and adoption strategies.
    • Support pricing strategies, customer engagement programs, and sales enablement initiatives.
    • Track performance metrics and recommend actions to improve business results.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership:
    • The Senior Product Manager, Medical Device Aesthetics leads cross-functional teams to execute strategic product initiatives.
    • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory, Operations, and Service to ensure successful execution.
    • Support organizational readiness through training, communication, and launch planning.
    • As a key decision-maker, the Senior Product Manager, Medical Device Aesthetics serves as the escalation point for product-related initiatives.
  • Clinical & Customer Engagement:
    • Build relationships with physicians, KOLs, customers, and industry stakeholders.
    • Support clinical studies, publications, claims development, and evidence-generation activities.
    • Representing the product category at conferences, advisory boards, customer meetings, and educational programs is a core part of the Senior Product Manager, Medical Device Aesthetics role.
Required Experience/Skills for the Senior Product Manager, Medical Device Aesthetics:
  • 6 - 8+ years of Product Management, Product Marketing, Commercial Strategy, or related experience.
  • Experience leading commercialization initiatives, product launches, and market development programs.
  • Strong business, analytical, communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Willingness to travel for conferences, customer meetings, training events, and field support activities.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Senior Product Manager, Medical Device Aesthetics:
  • Experience working with physicians, KOLs, and clinical stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting clinical studies, publications, and portfolio growth initiatives.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • An MBA or Master's degree is preferred.
