    Description

Do you want to reach the next level in your career? Are you looking for new challenges and solving hard problems using GenAI technologies? Join us and you"ll help millions of Prime members and customers discover the best from Amazon"s multi-billion product selection through intelligent, automated merchandising.

You will be responsible for creating and building critical services that onboard our newest members to Prime. You will have to generate, target, and optimize Amazon"s cross-category marketing and merchandising for this new cohort in their first 90 days of Prime to ensure they stay Prime after their most critical period. Through intelligent campaigns that leverage generative AI and data-driven experimentation, you will help deliver the best possible shopping and benefit experience for Amazon"s customers globally. Your work will directly impact how customers discover products across seasonal events, category moments, and personalized shopping experiences at unprecedented scale.

We believe in data-driven experimentation and continuous innovation, allowing us to rapidly improve the customer experience while maintaining quality at scale. You will have the opportunity to explore the many channels Amazon provides for customer outreach and engagement-from Homepage experiences to browse pages, email, and push notifications. The team provides a great opportunity to make an outsized impact in automated merchandising, building systems that orchestrate product curation, creative generation, and personalization into seamless customer experiences. There are few opportunities anywhere to define the future of GenAI-powered merchandising at this scale.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager - Technical who possesses strong product fundamentals, technical depth, and a passion to make a profound impact for our customers. You will leverage your technical and product management skills to lead large, critical projects involving distributed systems, generative AI integration, real-time personalization, and multi-channel orchestration. You will collaborate with diverse business and technical partners-including applied scientists, engineering teams, merchandisers, and marketing stakeholders-to shape our technology and define product strategy.

You are a strong product leader who excels at working backwards from the customer to define products, prioritize features, and communicate clearly across technical and non-technical audiences. You have a strong sense of ownership, passion to provide great customer experiences, and excellent judgement even in high-pressure situations. You thrive in ambiguity, making sound decisions with incomplete information while balancing speed with long-term quality.

We need a leader who will help us define the future of Prime Onboarding and benefit merchandising. Experience with high-availability systems, personalization platforms, recommendation engines, or marketing automation will be highly valuable. If you"re excited about building GenAI-powered systems that transform how hundreds of millions of customers shop, we"d love to hear from you.

    About Company

At Amazon, we don’t wait for the next big idea to present itself. We envision the shape of impossible things and then we boldly make them reality. So far, this mindset has helped us achieve some incredible things. Let’s build new systems, challenge the status quo, and design the world we want to live in. We believe the work you do here will be the best work of your life.

Wherever you are in your career exploration, Amazon likely has an opportunity for you. Our research scientists and engineers shape the future of natural language understanding with Alexa. Fulfillment center associates around the globe send customer orders from our warehouses to doorsteps. Product managers set feature requirements, strategy, and marketing messages for brand new customer experiences. And as we grow, we’ll add jobs that haven’t been invented yet.

    It’s Always Day 1
At Amazon, it’s always “Day 1.” Now, what does this mean and why does it matter? It means that our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon’s very first day – to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and stay focused on delighting our customers. In our 2016 shareholder letter, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos shared his thoughts on how to keep up a Day 1 company mindset. “Staying in Day 1 requires you to experiment patiently, accept failures, plant seeds, protect saplings, and double down when you see customer delight,” he wrote. “A customer-obsessed culture best creates the conditions where all of that can happen.” You can read the full letter here

    Our Leadership Principles
Our Leadership Principles help us keep a Day 1 mentality. They aren’t just a pretty inspirational wall hanging. Amazonians use them, every day, whether they’re discussing ideas for new projects, deciding on the best solution for a customer’s problem, or interviewing candidates.
