The AI agent era is here, and you'll help define how enterprises build with it.

Amazon Bedrock and AgentCore are how the world's largest organizations are building AI-native applications and autonomous agents. This is one of the fastest-growing product areas in AWS history, and we need a Senior Product Marketing Manager - Tech who can own the narrative.

In this role, you won't just describe products, you'll shape them. You'll work backwards from the needs of builders to influence roadmap priorities, craft positioning that becomes the language customers use to describe their own strategies, and launch capabilities that land on the front page of Hacker News. You'll partner directly with GMs, principal engineers, and field leaders across a portfolio that includes Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, and Strands Agents (our open-source agent SDK).

This is a high-visibility role with direct access to AWS leadership and a front-row seat to the most consequential platform shift since cloud itself.

Why This Role

Front-row seat to one of the fastest-moving product areas in AWS - agentic AI is redefining how software gets built

Direct partnership with product GMs and senior engineering leaders who value marketing as a strategic function

High-visibility stage: re:Invent keynotes, analyst briefings, executive customer meetings

Ownership and autonomy - you'll own an entire product narrative end-to-end, not execute someone else's playbook

A team culture that rewards bold thinking, intellectual curiosity, and a bias for action

Key job responsibilities

Own product positioning and launches for one or more products in the Bedrock/AgentCore portfolio - from naming and messaging through launch day execution and post-launch iteration

Translate complex architectures into customer value - create technical narratives, demos, and reference architectures that help builders understand when and how to use agents vs. other AI patterns

Influence product strategy by synthesizing signals from customer conversations, competitive intelligence, analyst feedback, and usage data into actionable recommendations for product teams

Be the product expert in the room - represent your products in executive briefings, re:Invent stage talks, analyst interactions, and field enablement

Drive adoption with technical audiences - develop content strategies that reach developers, architects, and technical decision-makers through the channels they trust

Partner cross-functionally with product management, developer relations, solutions architecture, and sales to align on ICPs, use cases, and GTM motions

About the Company

A

Amazon.com Inc

At Amazon, we don’t wait for the next big idea to present itself. We envision the shape of impossible things and then we boldly make them reality. So far, this mindset has helped us achieve some incredible things. Let’s build new systems, challenge the status quo, and design the world we want to live in. We believe the work you do here will be the best work of your life.

Wherever you are in your career exploration, Amazon likely has an opportunity for you. Our research scientists and engineers shape the future of natural language understanding with Alexa. Fulfillment center associates around the globe send customer orders from our warehouses to doorsteps. Product managers set feature requirements, strategy, and marketing messages for brand new customer experiences. And as we grow, we’ll add jobs that haven’t been invented yet.

It’s Always Day 1
At Amazon, it’s always “Day 1.” Now, what does this mean and why does it matter? It means that our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon’s very first day – to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and stay focused on delighting our customers. In our 2016 shareholder letter, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos shared his thoughts on how to keep up a Day 1 company mindset. “Staying in Day 1 requires you to experiment patiently, accept failures, plant seeds, protect saplings, and double down when you see customer delight,” he wrote. “A customer-obsessed culture best creates the conditions where all of that can happen.” You can read the full letter here

Our Leadership Principles
Our Leadership Principles help us keep a Day 1 mentality. They aren’t just a pretty inspirational wall hanging. Amazonians use them, every day, whether they’re discussing ideas for new projects, deciding on the best solution for a customer’s problem, or interviewing candidates.
