Senior Production Operator -3rd Shift

Schedule: Mon-Fri (3rd Shift Starts Sunday Night) - 11:00PM - 7:30AM

Training Schedule:

• Orientation: First 2–3 days, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM

• Regular Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM upon completion of training

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Senior Production Operator to set up, operate, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment used to blend, mix, and extrude chemical materials. This position ensures product quality, production efficiency, and compliance with safety standards while supporting team operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor blending, mixing, and extrusion machinery.

• Weigh and prepare raw materials according to production specifications.

• Troubleshoot equipment issues and make necessary adjustments.

• Inspect finished products and collect quality control samples.

• Perform machine cleaning and maintain a safe, organized work area.

• Complete production records, SAP transactions, and required documentation.

• Assist with training new employees and supporting daily production activities.

• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in blending, mixing, extrusion, or plastics production.

• Experience operating and troubleshooting industrial machinery.

• Forklift operator certification/license required.

• Familiarity with SAP or similar production systems preferred.

• Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.

• Must be able to frequently lift up to 55 lbs. and occasionally handle materials up to 250 lbs. with appropriate assistance or equipment.

• Comfortable working around machinery, chemicals, dust, and varying noise levels.

• Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
