Position Summary
Our client is seeking a Senior Production Planner to manage production scheduling, coordinate cross-functional activities, and support overall operational efficiency. This role is responsible for balancing customer demand, resource availability, and production capacity to help ensure business objectives are achieved. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and experienced in planning within a dynamic operational environment.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand, operational priorities, and available resources.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure materials, inventory, and production requirements are aligned.
- Monitor workflow and schedules, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to maintain efficient operations.
- Support effective utilization of resources, equipment, and personnel.
- Analyze planning and operational data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain accurate planning records, reports, and system information.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational goals and business objectives.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and planning-related projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in production planning, scheduling, operations, supply chain, or a related environment.
- Experience working with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting operational planning activities within a manufacturing or production setting is preferred.
