Senior Program Financial Analyst (On-site)

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Program Financial Analyst to manage the financial performance of complex aerospace and defense programs.

The successful candidate will work closely with program leadership, Control Account Managers, and cross-functional teams to support Earned Value Management, financial forecasting, EAC analysis, budgeting, variance analysis, and program controls.

• Maintain the integrity of Earned Value Management data across multiple programs.
• Use COBRA and SAP to support program financial reporting and analysis.
• Perform weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasting.
• Analyze program performance, profitability, cash flow, and variances against plan.
• Create, maintain, and update projects in SAP.
• Prepare and maintain accurate Estimate at Completion data.
• Develop and maintain program baseline budgets.
• Prepare and review program variance reports.
• Support Control Account Managers with financial reporting and analysis.
• Prepare Integrated Program Management Report deliverables.
• Develop proposal cost estimates and pricing information.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis.
• Support risk management, cost estimating, procurement, change management, and program control activities.
• Present financial results and program performance to leadership.
• Mentor junior team members as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, Science, or another analytical discipline.
• At least six years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, four years with a graduate degree, or ten years of related experience without a degree.
• Hands-on experience with COBRA and SAP.
• Strong knowledge of Earned Value Management concepts and processes.
• Experience with EAC forecasting, financial planning, budgeting, cost estimating, and variance analysis.
• Experience with work breakdown structures and program financial management.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance if required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Program finance experience within the aerospace or defense industry.
• Experience supporting government or defense programs.
• Strong Earned Value reporting experience.
• Experience managing the financial performance of large or highly visible programs.
• Knowledge of government contracts and funding profiles.
• Experience with CPAF, CPFF, T&M, and FFP contract structures.
• Familiarity with DFARS, ANSI/EIA-748, EVMIG, and NDIA guidance.
• MBA, CPA, PMP, EVMP, or a similar professional credential.
• Leadership or mentoring experience.
