Position Summary of the Senior Program Manager:
Our customer is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead and coordinate key
Pillow and
Comfort Topper foam programs from program initiation through successful execution and completion. This position will serve as central point of coordination across engineering, manufacturing, operations, quality, supply chain, commercial, and customer-facing teams.
The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for maintaining program schedules, tracking milestones and deliverables, identifying risks, coordinating cross-functional activities, and ensuring project remains on schedule. The ideal candidate is a highly organized, hands-on program leader who can manage multiple priorities, drive accountability across teams, and proactively resolve issues that could impact timing, quality, cost, or successful program execution.
Primary Responsibilities of the Senior Program Manager:- Lead and manage Pillow & Comfort Topper foam programs, ensuring projects are executed according to established scope, timing, cost, quality, and customer requirements
- Develop, maintain, and actively manage detailed program timelines, project plans, milestones, and critical-path activities
- Track program status and key deliverables from project kickoff through development, validation, manufacturing readiness, launch, and completion
- Coordinate activities across Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Sales/Commercial, Finance, and other functional teams
- Establish clear ownership and due dates from program deliverables and drive cross-functional teams to completion
- Lead regular program reviews and communicate project status, accomplishments, upcoming milestones, risks, and open action items
- Proactively identify schedule risks, resource constraints, dependencies, and potential roadblocks and develop recovery or mitigation plans
- Maintain detailed action-items trackers and follow up with responsible team members to ensure commitments are completed on time
- Drive timely decision-making and escalate critical program issues when necessary to protect project timing and deliverables
- Coordinate new product development and product changes associated with foam pillow and comfort topper programs
- Support manufacturing readiness by ensuring appropriate coordination between product development and plant/operations teams
- Partner with engineering and manufacturing teams to address product, process, material, tooling, quality, and production-related issues
- Monitor program performance against established timing, cost, quality, and customer expectations
- Coordinate customer requirements and changes with internal teams to determine impacts to timing, resources, cost, and deliverables
- Maintain accurate program documentation, schedules, meeting notes, risk registers, and project status reports
- Provide clear and concise program updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders
- Manage multiple programs and priorities simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Help establish and continuously improve program-management processes, reporting tools, and execution standards
