  • Work closely with project managers, project executives, operations leaders, and accounting personnel to address project-related financial matters.
  • Track subcontractor prevailing-wage compliance throughout public works projects.
  • Monitor preliminary notices and ensure all required notices are received, reviewed, and properly documented.
  • Track preliminary notices submitted by suppliers and lower-tier subcontractors.
  • Maintain accurate records of subcontractors, suppliers, and other parties with potential lien rights.
  • Review project financials before closeout to confirm that outstanding billings, costs, commitments, releases, and compliance documents have been addressed.
  • Complete the accounting closeout process once all financial obligations and billing cycles have been finalized.
  • Ensure project accounting activities comply with company procedures, contract requirements, applicable accounting standards, and construction-industry regulations.
  • Assist the Assistant Controller and accounting leadership with financial reporting, process improvement, internal controls, and other accounting initiatives as needed.
