Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Project Accountant to support a high-volume project environment managing multiple active engagements across various regions. This Senior Project Accountant will work closely with project managers and internal teams to ensure accurate project setup, billing, cost tracking, and financial reporting from start through closeout.

The ideal Senior Project Accountant is experienced in project-based accounting environments, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and can manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project billing, job setup, and draw schedules for multiple active projects
• 
  
• Partner with project managers to track costs, updates, and project changes
• 
  
• Prepare and submit client billing through external systems
• 
  
• Monitor project financial activity to ensure accuracy and completeness
• 
  
• Support project closeout, including documentation and final reconciliation
• 
  

Senior Project Accountant Qualifications

• 
  
• 4+ years of project accounting experience
• 
  
• Experience in a construction or project-based accounting environment preferred
• 
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred (or equivalent experience considered)
• 
  
• Experience with project billing, job costing, and financial tracking
