Position: SENIOR PROJECT ACCOUNTANT
Location: In-office, San Antonio
Compensation: $85,000 - $115,000

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Enter Project from cradle to close out, job costing, job set-up, consultant budgets, expense budgets, and labor tracking experience.
- Help establish updated financial tracking and reporting for a complex project.
- Present project financial information to senior leaders.
- Maintain accurate invoice and contract records across project finance systems.
- Code and track project spend to support reliable budget-to-actual reporting.
- Prepare weekly financial reports on project costs and available funding.
- Coordinate project financial information with accounting and insurance stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE SENIOR PROJECT ACCOUNTANT:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- Certification (Preferred) Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent preferred or Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP)
- Experience: 4+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, preferably in construction or project-based environments
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights
- Financial Reporting and Presentation: must be comfortable and confident presenting financial reports and project updates to executive leadership
