    Description

    Overview The Senior Project & Commissioning Engineer is a technical subject matter expert and responsible for managing an RNG plant start-up from SAT through full commissioning and operational acceptance. This individual will be both customer- and internal-facing and will coordinate activity of all parties to meet start up and operational requirements in a timely and cost-efficient manner, including providing leadership and coaching to Engineers and Technicians. This position will also be responsible for individual skid and Balance of Plant controls support.Responsibilities Manage RNG plant start-up from SAT through full commissioning and operational acceptance.Coordinate activities of customers, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to meet start-up and operational requirements.Provide leadership and coaching to Engineers and Technicians.Support control systems for individual skids and Balance of Plant.Travel nationwide up to 50%+, including multiple weeks on site as required.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience required.7-10 years of experience with RNG plants in both landfill and biogas settings and/or gas compression and separation equipment and processes in related industries.Experience with RNG equipment design, manufacturing, testing, and startup, including demonstrated experience with full plant operation.Excellent problem-solving skills - ability to think on your feet and resolve issues in the field in real time.Strong customer service and communication skills and mindset; ability to balance competing interests of customers, contractors, vendors and other parties.Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work collaboratively with other project managers, engineers, and trades.Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office; CAD experience a plus.Project management skills (PMP a plus).Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines.Benefits Advance your career with Stark Tech, a leader in facilities and energy solutions.
