Target W2 hourly compensation:  $80.00/hour (commensurate with experience)
Citizenship:  U.S. Citizenship is required.
Location: Houston, TX 77024 (100% Onsite)

Must-haves:
  • Primavera P6 Expertise Required
  • This role requires advanced, hands-on Primavera P6 expertise.
  • Candidates must have extensive experience building, owning, and driving integrated EPC schedules — not simply updating schedules created by others.

Minimum Skills, Qualifications, and Abilities:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is required.  An advanced degree is preferred.  Alternatively, an additional 4 years (14 years total) of directly applicable working experience may be considered instead of a degree.

Experience:
Minimum of 15 years of full-time working experience in project scheduling within large-scale projects or programs (preferably in energy, infrastructure, or industrial sectors), with at least 5 of those years working with Primavera P6, is required.  Must have exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills, with an emphasis on coordinating conflicting demands and priorities, and the ability to manage complex programs/projects with multiple work phases. Must be able to demonstrate strong technical writing skills with excellent communication, computer, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Position Summary:
The Senior P6 Scheduler will play a critical role in supporting the successful execution of a complex nuclear project from initial design through final client delivery. This position is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing integrated project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with project objectives, contractual requirements, and PMO standards.
  • The role requires close collaboration with Engineering and Supply Chain teams to accurately reflect design milestones, procurement activities, manufacturing timelines, and delivery schedules.
  • The Senior Scheduler will proactively identify schedule risks, analyze critical paths, and recommend mitigation strategies to maintain project performance.
  • Additionally, this position will provide expert guidance on scheduling best practices, facilitate schedule reviews, and deliver clear, actionable reporting to project leadership and stakeholders.
  • Applicants must have first-hand project experience in nuclear power plant outages or nuclear projects, demonstrating a deep understanding of the unique regulatory, technical, and logistical challenges inherent in the nuclear industry.
  • As part of the PMO, the Senior P6 Scheduler will ensure compliance with governance standards, support change management processes, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • This is a senior-level role requiring advanced technical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams in a highly regulated environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Maintain Project Schedules
  • Create, update, and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Ensure alignment with project scope, budget, and resource plans.
  • Integrate Schedules Across Programs
  • Consolidate multiple project schedules into an integrated master schedule.
  • Coordinate dependencies and interfaces between projects.
  • Perform Schedule Analysis
  • Conduct critical path analysis, float analysis, and risk assessments.
  • Identify schedule variances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support Project Controls
  • Collaborate with cost engineers and project managers to align schedule and cost data.
  • Provide earned value analysis and progress reporting.
  • Ensure Compliance with PMO Standards
  • Apply PMO governance, scheduling standards, and best practices.
  • Maintain consistency in coding structures, calendars, and resource assignments.

Planning/organizing: Prioritizes and plans work activities, organizes personal and project timelines and deadlines, tracks project timelines and deadlines, and uses time efficiently.
