The Disparities Research Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital is seeking a research project coordinator for a study focused on addressing health and healthcare inequities in socially vulnerable communities. The project coordinator should be familiar with health services research and have demonstrated experience in data tracking and coordination.
The project coordinator will work closely with research staff to coordinate outreach, screening, assessment and tracking of research participants taking part in this multisite study. They will conduct day-to-day data tracking using REDCap and Excel. They will conduct interview quality control and work together with a data manager to address data quality control checks. The project coordinator will participate in maintaining REDCap data collection programs. They will facilitate creation of information needed for participants taking part in the intervention phase and will help fulfill reporting requirements for special participant situations and to departments including the IRB. The project coordinator will prepare reports of enrollment targets and interview completion, and will oversee sending and tracking gift cards to participants. The project coordinator will be a resource for Clinical Research Coordinators working with research participants and will help with other study activities and logistics as needed to contribute to the success of the overall study.
The ideal candidate will bring a very high level of attention to detail, have experience using excel for data tracking; be proactive, and be enthusiastic about the intersection of research and practice.
