ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a Project Engineer for a custom manufacturing equipment engineering company which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in design, specifications, and technical support looking to further their career in mechanical engineering.
Design custom equipment modifications from customer specifications, including performing design calculations, component sizing, and material selection
Create design documentation (BOMs, drawings, data sheets) and review technical work prior to production release
Support manufacturing and field commissioning, resolving technical issues and implementing design solutions on-site
Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, production, procurement, and customers to ensure design feasibility and quality
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or related engineering discipline
Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on engineering experience in a manufacturing environment designing products requiring fabrication or assembly
Strong technical foundation in design calculations, component selection, and materials; familiarity with metals/piping or ability to apply ASME code principles
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS
Test planning and design validation experience
Pressure vessel, piping, or combustion equipment design experience
