Senior Project Manager
The company has recently been awarded $50M+ of work across 5-6 projects and multiple buildings for a confidential client operating in the defense, manufacturing, and aerospace industries. The projects are already underway, creating an immediate need for a strong Senior Project Manager who can step into an active environment and take ownership of project execution. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior PM who enjoys technically challenging projects and wants to join a growing contractor with a strong backlog and long-term opportunity for advancement. The company is a fast-growing Southern California general contractor with 100+ employees, headquartered in Carlsbad with an additional Irvine office and projects throughout Southern California. Their core markets include:

Job Description
- Lead the overall management and execution of multiple construction projects
- Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, and overall financial performance
- Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal operations teams
- Develop and maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are met
- Review plans, specifications, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and other project documentation
- Manage project financials, forecasting, cost control, and monthly reporting
- Identify project risks and develop solutions to keep work progressing
- Lead project meetings and maintain strong communication with clients and project stakeholders
- Work closely with the Superintendent and field team to coordinate project execution
- Oversee subcontractor performance and contract compliance
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Manage multiple buildings/projects simultaneously as the portfolio develops
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership regarding project progress, financials, schedule, and risks
- Assist with client relationships and support continued growth with key accounts
- Utilize Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, and Microsoft Office throughout project execution

The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have:
- 7+ years of commercial construction experience
- Strong Project Management experience with progressively increasing responsibility
- Experience managing technically complex construction projects
- Manufacturing, industrial, life sciences, healthcare, aerospace, defense, or advanced technology experience strongly preferred
- Experience managing multiple projects or complex scopes simultaneously
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, budgeting, and project financials
- Proven ability to manage owners, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and internal teams
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency with:
- Procore
- Bluebeam
- Microsoft Project
- Primavera P6
- Microsoft Office
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred, but not required
- A consistent employment history and demonstrated long-term commitment to previous employers

- $150,000-$190,000 base salary, depending on experience
