About the Role:

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for providing project management services to an assigned high-profile Aviation or Government & Defense client account to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives.

This job is part of the Project Management function. They are responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage all areas of project management for multiple projects. This includes planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout with respect to the delivery of specific site-based work for various projects.
  • Work collaboratively alongside the Regional Project Managers Scheduler, Estimator, and Controller to manage the site.
  • Interface with various internal and external stakeholder groups to align the necessary consultations and approvals.
  • Work with the contractor to coordinate the required permits, approvals, and consents as well as to coordinate site logistics.
  • Oversee the delivery of the works in line with scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk requirements.
  • Coordinate the effective application of change control procedures and escalates decisions as required.
  • Works collaboratively with the wider regional team to coordinate reviews, inspections, and approvals incl. design, health and safety, quality, environmental, security, etc.
  • Works collaboratively with the wider regional team to coordinate procurement activities and contract management activities.
  • Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process. Conduct complex requests for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients.
  • Facilitate the development of a charter and integrated timeline.
  • Ensure all functions remain on schedule and issues get resolved or escalated.
  • Facilitate regular meetings to review project status for active and pending projects.
  • Collaborate to develop solutions and guide the project team through implementation and completion.
  • Work collaboratively alongside the Regional Project managers, Scheduler, Estimator, and Controller to manage the site
  • Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.
  • Showcase expertise in own job discipline and in-depth knowledge of other job disciplines within the organization function.
  • Coach others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with company RISE values. Anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels and of divergent interest, to adopt a different point of view.
  • Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi-discipline teams. Work is guided by functional policies which impact the design of procedures and policies.
  • Contribute to new products, processes, standards, and/or operational plans in support of achieving functional goals.
  • Communicate difficult and complex ideas with the ability to influence.

What You'll Need:

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant experience in program or project management. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management and / or applicable technical areas to deliver complex road / highways projects. Experience with large international airport projects or equivalent infrastructure projects or programs is strongly desired.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing teams to deliver complex projects and programs.
  • Strong technical capability in all project phases, including design, planning, construction, operations, and maintenance preferably large program/projects.
  • Demonstrable experience in managing stakeholder relationships and providing reporting to enable effective decision making.
  • Familiarity of working in collaborative project environments and a working knowledge and experience of progressive contracting models incl. Progressive Design Build and Target Price.
  • Good stakeholder engagement and communication skills including the ability to facilitate meetings / workshops with groups of stakeholders.
  • Recognized degree and professional designation in a relevant field considered an asset.
  • The innovative mentality to develop methods that go beyond existing solutions.
  • Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innovative solutions having a broad impact on the business.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
