Senior Project Manager

The Senior Project Manager will oversee multiple municipal and public-sector construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, working closely with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal construction teams.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead municipal, civic, public works, and capital improvement construction projects throughout Chicagoland
• Manage project budgets, schedules, cost forecasts, procurement, and overall project performance
• Lead project teams including Superintendents, Project Engineers, subcontractors, architects, and engineers
• Develop and maintain relationships with municipalities, public agencies, owners, and design professionals
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, buyout, procurement, and contract administration
• Monitor project financial performance, billing, forecasting, and profitability
• Lead owner meetings and provide regular project updates
• Support preconstruction, estimating, and business development efforts
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Oversee project closeout, punch lists, warranty, and turnover

Complex municipal and public-sector construction projects throughout ChicagolandNationally recognized General Contractor with a strong public-sector backlog

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
• 7+ years of Project Management experience with a General Contractor
• Strong experience managing municipal, public-sector, civic, government, or institutional construction projects
• Experience with public bid work, JOC, IDOT, park districts, municipalities, or other public agencies highly preferred
• Strong understanding of construction scheduling, budgeting, estimating, procurement, and cost control
• Proven ability to lead multiple construction projects and project teams
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction software
• Chicago/Chicagoland construction experience strongly preferred

• $130,000-$160,000+ base salary, depending on experience
