Senior Project Manager- Commercial Construction

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER – COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION

A well-established General Contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

This is a HIGHLY CONFIDENTIAL SEARCH.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion
• Manage budgets, schedules, contracts, change orders, procurement and project financials
• Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, Superintendents, subcontractors and vendors
• Lead project kickoff, OAC, progress and subcontractor coordination meetings
• Oversee estimating, budgeting, constructability reviews, value engineering and buyout
• Monitor profitability, forecasting, invoicing and cost control
• Identify and resolve design, schedule, construction and contractual issues
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and support repeat business
• Ensure safety, quality, schedule and budget expectations are achieved
• Manage subcontractor and trade partner performance
• Mentor Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers
• Partner closely with field leadership throughout project execution

QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years of construction project management experience
• Strong commercial construction / General Contractor background
• Experience managing complex and/or multiple concurrent projects
• Strong knowledge of preconstruction, estimating, contracts, scheduling and closeout
• Proven project financial management and cost-control experience
• Strong leadership, communication and client-facing skills
• Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Office
