Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary projects serving the food, beverage, dairy, and industrial manufacturing industries. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers while coordinating engineering, procurement, fabrication, and field service teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Job Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution:
Lead the planning and implementation of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
Coordinate with internal teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:
Lead, motivate, and mentor project management team, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
Foster collaboration across departments and with stakeholders to drive project success.
Resolve conflicts and manage team dynamics to ensure high performance.

Stakeholder Management:
Regularly communicate project progress, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders.
Manage expectations and ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and business objectives.
Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries and escalations.

Budget & Resource Management:
Oversee the budget and ensure projects are completed within the allocated financial resources.
Track and report project expenditures and forecast future costs.
Ensure that the project has the necessary resources and that they are utilized efficiently.

Risk Management:
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Proactively resolve issues and make adjustments to project plans as needed.

Continuous Improvement:
Monitor project performance and identify areas for improvement in processes, tools, and methodologies.
Implement best practices and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or related field. PMP, Agile, or other project management certifications are preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 8 years in a senior or leadership role.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to completion.
Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders at all levels.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, Scrum).
Skills:
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think strategically.
Expertise in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello, etc.).
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
Personal Attributes:
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across diverse teams.
Detail-oriented and able to manage complex tasks with a focus on deadlines.
Strategic thinker with a focus on long-term goals and outcomes.
