Senior Project Manager
A premier Southern California builder specializing in Life Sciences, HCAI Healthcare, Biotechnology, Laboratory, and Advanced Technology construction is looking to add a Senior Project Manager to its growing team. This is an opportunity to join a contractor with a strong reputation for delivering highly technical, mission-critical environments where precision, planning, and collaboration are essential. With an expanding pipeline of Life Sciences, Research & Development, Healthcare, and Advanced Technology projects, the organization is seeking a proven construction leader capable of driving projects from preconstruction through turnover while serving as a trusted partner to clients and project teams.
Job Description
Our Senior Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Lead projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, procurement plans, and forecasting efforts
- Drive project execution to ensure schedule, cost, safety, and quality objectives are achieved
- Oversee contract administration, subcontractor management, change orders, and risk mitigation
- Coordinate with field leadership to ensure successful project delivery
- Lead owner meetings and provide executive-level project reporting
- Manage commissioning, turnover, and closeout activities
- Partner with estimating and preconstruction teams during project pursuit and planning phases
- Mentor Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, and emerging project staff

The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Project Manager for this role will have:
- 8+ years of commercial construction project management experience
- Experience managing ground-up and complex renovation/TI projects
- Proven success overseeing projects from preconstruction through completion
- Strong financial management, forecasting, and budget control experience
- Ability to build strong client relationships and lead cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
