Senior Project Manager - Multifamily Construction

A respected general contractor in the Chicago area is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead multifamily projects across the western suburbs. If you enjoy owning a project from preconstruction through turnover and building strong relationships with owners, architects and trade partners, this is a great opportunity to grow with a team that values its people.

What You'll Do

• Lead ground-up and podium-style multifamily projects from preconstruction through closeout
• Own budgets, schedules, buyout, change orders and monthly cost reporting
• Build and keep strong relationships with owners, design teams and subcontractors
• Mentor project managers, assistant PMs and project engineers on your team
• Partner with superintendents to keep projects safe, on schedule and high quality
• Manage risk, contracts and owner billing with clear, steady communication

What You Bring

• 8+ years of project management experience with a commercial general contractor
• A track record delivering multifamily projects, ideally $30M and up
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, cost control and contract management
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project or similar tools
• A friendly, team-first leadership style
• A construction management or related degree is a plus

What We Offer

• Salary range of $130,000–$170,000 per year, based on experience
