Salary Range: $142,760 - $162,451 per year

Wayfair is looking for a Senior Project Manager to support the retail real estate program. This position will work across multiple teams (Real Estate Development, Design/Build, Legal, Finance, Operations, external architects/engineers/GCs, etc.) to ensure program and project timelines are built out and proactively managed from original concept of project idea through the store opening process. The position will also lead efforts to build a standard operating process for development timelines/risks/solutions that will allow Wayfair to have a scalable retail real estate program. This position will serve as a consistent point of contact throughout the development process and is a critical component of a retail real estate development program.

What Youll Do:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all assigned physical retail real estate timelines
  • Develop a project timeline incorporating site-specific milestones to provide clarity on opening, upcoming milestones decisions and project/program risks
  • Lead cross-functionally across multiple internal and external stakeholders to identify site-specific milestones and potential risks to those milestones
  • Proactively partner with stakeholders to identify alternatives to keep projects on track with desired timelines
  • Monitor real estate-related project and program budgets to ensure costs remain in line with REC approval
  • Develop a standard operating process (SOP) to outline internal and external stakeholders, incorporate the framework, typical risks associated with milestones and how to mitigate those risks.

What Youll Need:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Architecture, Engineering or Real Estate
  • At least 5 years retail real estate development experience with a focus on program/project management
  • Direct experience as an owner's representative on complex construction projects
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across multiple key stakeholder groups
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently
