Senior Project Manager - Integrated Asset Integrity & Risk Platform
Role Overview
The Senior Project Manager will lead end-to-end delivery of Irth Solutions' integrated asset-integrity and risk platform. This role sits within the PMO and is responsible for coordinating delivery across Product, Engineering, Data Science, QA, Infrastructure, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Experience.
The Senior Project Manager will own the integrated delivery plan, schedule, budget, dependencies, risks, governance, and executive reporting to ensure the program delivers against agreed business outcomes and phase-gate commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery & Schedule Management
- Own and maintain the integrated project plan across Product, Engineering, Data, QA, Infrastructure, and Go-to-Market workstreams.
- Establish and manage phase-gate milestones, release dates, and critical-path activities.
- Lead the weekly delivery cadence, including:
- Sprint and release checkpoints
- Workstream status reviews
- Cross-functional dependency management
- Critical-path reviews
- Schedule recovery and corrective actions
- Maintain a single source of truth for program status, milestones, dependencies, and delivery health.
- Reconcile the delivery plan against actual engineering and team capacity.
- Identify schedule slippage early and drive mitigation plans with accountable owners.
- Risk, Budget & Decision Management
- Own the program risk register, covering:
- Technical risks
- Data risks
- Regulatory/compliance risks
- Vendor risks
- Resourcing and hiring risks
- Delivery and operational risks
- Ensure every material risk has a named owner, mitigation plan, target date, and escalation trigger.
- Track program budget and vendor spend, including:
- Azure consumption
- Databricks consumption
- Software and platform licensing
- Contractor costs
- Other program-related vendor expenditure
- Monitor actuals versus budget and flag variances early.
- Maintain the program decision log, documenting:
- Decision required
- Options/trade-offs considered
- Decision made
- Decision owner
- Rationale
- Date and downstream impact
- Ensure key decisions are documented clearly enough to support phase-gate reviews, governance, and future audits.
- Governance & Executive Reporting
- Own the steering committee cadence, including:
- Agenda
- Pre-read materials
- Status reporting
- Decisions required
- Actions and follow-up
- Prepare concise Executive Sponsor updates covering:
- Overall program health
- Schedule
- Budget
- Key risks
- Dependencies
- Decisions required
- Upcoming milestones
- Prepare materials for steering committee and board-level reporting.
- Coordinate phase-gate approvals with the Executive Sponsor, who owns the business case and funding.
- Ensure governance forums result in clear decisions, accountable owners, and documented follow-through.

- Maintain alignment between technical delivery and commercial/customer-readiness activities.
- Coordinate with external customer design partners to ensure customer feedback and validation are incorporated into delivery.

The Senior Project Manager sits within the PMO and works closely with:
- Executive Sponsor - business case, funding, executive decisions, and phase-gate approvals
- Product Manager - product scope, priorities, requirements, and roadmap
- Engineering Manager - engineering execution, capacity, technical dependencies, and releases
- Data Architect - data architecture and platform dependencies
- Data Engineers - data pipelines, integration, and data readiness
- Data Scientists - analytics, models, experimentation, and data science deliverables
- Platform Engineers - platform, cloud, and environment readiness
- QA - quality strategy, testing, defects, and release readiness
- Infrastructure - environments, infrastructure, reliability, and operational readiness
- Marketing & Sales - positioning, launch readiness, enablement, and commercial dependencies
- Customer Experience - customer adoption, feedback, implementation readiness, and support
- External Customer Design Partners - validation, feedback, and product readiness

- Dependencies are actively managed, rather than discovered late.
- Product, Engineering, Data, QA, and Go-to-Market teams remain aligned.
- Executives have a clear, accurate view of program health and decisions required.
- Major decisions and trade-offs are documented and auditable.
- The platform reaches launch with technical, operational, commercial, and customer readiness aligned.
Role Positioning
This is an execution and orchestration role. The Senior Project Manager does not own the product roadmap, technical architecture, or business case; instead, they ensure the people who own those areas are aligned, accountable, and delivering against an integrated plan.

Compensation
The salary range for this role is USD $145K-160K
This range reflects the base salary only and does not include any additional compensation components. Any offer of employment is dependent on several factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
