Senior Project Manager

SUMMARY

Seeking a Senior Project Manager in San Antonio, TX to lead the development of projects from start to finish. This role works closely with Engineering to ensure projects are properly scoped, documented, and structured prior to execution. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead initial project development in partnership with Engineering.
• Establish project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Review specifications, customer requirements, and contract terms.
• Identify and mitigate risks during project initiation.
• Serve as operational link between commercial, engineering, and execution teams.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders for smooth project transitions.
• Act as a liaison between customers and engineering
• Manage structured handoff to Site Project Managers.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to Site Project Managers.
• Coach on project management best practices.
• Conduct regular project reviews and performance check-ins.
• Develop standardized project initiation tools and templates.
• Support adoption of project management methodologies.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred, or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years of project management experience, with a minimum of 3 years in leadership capacity.
• Emergency power generators, mission critical enclosure industry experience required
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• PMP certification preferred.
• 25-30% travel
