Position Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale commercial construction projects and support the continued growth of a well-established organization. This individual will oversee complex projects from preconstruction through completion, manage project teams, maintain financial performance, and serve as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with strong project management expertise, financial acumen, and the ability to drive successful project outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
- Manage large-scale commercial construction projects from initiation through closeout.
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, forecasting, and overall financial performance.
- Lead multiple projects simultaneously while coordinating with field leadership and project teams.
- Monitor staffing needs and resource allocation to ensure successful project execution.
- Manage change orders, contract modifications, and project documentation.
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Track project progress and proactively address risks, challenges, and opportunities.
- Coordinate RFIs, submittals, schedules, and other critical project deliverables.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Support business growth initiatives and contribute to operational excellence.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of project management experience within commercial construction or a related industry.
- Demonstrated success managing large, complex projects with significant budgets and workforce requirements.
- Strong experience in project forecasting, financial management, budgeting, and cost control.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating with field operations.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office applications.
