Description

Senior Project Manager – Structural Steel

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead structural steel projects from award through closeout. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of project management experience with a structural steel fabricator and/or erector and a proven ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage structural steel projects from preconstruction through final completion.
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, procurement, fabrication, and erection activities.
  • Coordinate with owners, general contractors, detailers, fabricators, and field teams.
  • Review contracts, drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Track project costs and ensure projects remain profitable.
  • Identify and resolve project issues while maintaining schedule commitments.
  • Mentor junior project managers and support cross-functional teams.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and build long-term client relationships.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager within the structural steel industry.
  • Experience managing structural steel fabrication and erection projects.
  • Strong understanding of shop operations, field erection, and project sequencing.
  • Experience with Bluebeam, Tekla PowerFab, FabSuite, Procore, or similar software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
