Senior Project Manager

Location: Tucson, AZ

About the Organization

Our client is an established civil engineering and land development consulting firm serving public- and private-sector clients across Arizona and surrounding markets. The organization provides comprehensive engineering, planning, surveying, and project management services for residential, commercial, and infrastructure development projects.

The firm is recognized for its strong technical capabilities, collaborative approach, and long-standing relationships with clients, developers, contractors, and public agencies. Its team works closely with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, from initial site assessment and entitlement support through engineering design, permitting, construction support, and project completion.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced civil engineering professional to take a leadership role within a growing organization, manage multidisciplinary design teams, develop client relationships, and contribute to the successful delivery of complex land development projects.

About the Job

Qualified candidates will have a BSCE degree, Arizona Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer, or the ability to obtain Arizona registration through reciprocity, along with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in residential and commercial land development.

Candidates must also have a minimum of 10 years of management experience supervising engineers, designers, and other project support staff.

Managerial Experience Must Include
  • Supervision of engineering design teams
  • Management of project schedules and budgets
  • Preparation and management of contracts, fee proposals, and scopes of work
  • Significant experience interacting with clients and public agencies
  • Responsibility for the direction, control, and planning of design teams
  • Ability to establish realistic goals and independently develop plans to achieve them
Technical Experience Must Include
  • Site assessment and engineering design studies
  • Preparation and processing of improvement plans supporting private land development projects
  • Constructability reviews and site construction conformance evaluations
  • Construction support services
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Microsoft Project, and Bluebeam
