    Job Description

    Horner & Shifrin is seeking a full-time Senior Project Manager to join our Water team. The position requires 10+ years of experience.
     
    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
    • Develop and maintain a client base of municipal clients and water/wastewater utilities
    • Recognize and initiate business development opportunities
    • Perform and check environmental engineering calculations
    • Prepare contract proposals and cost estimates
    • Generate designs for projects using best practices
    • Participate in the preparation and checking of environmental construction drawings
    • Responsible for the completion of assigned tasks within a project
    • Monitor project schedules and budgets
    • Lead and mentor junior staff
    • Coordinate projects with other business units, as required
    POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
    • Licensed Professional Engineer
    • Experience in drinking water, wastewater and/or stormwater design
    • Ability to lead, manage and schedule staff to meet project needs
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word)
    • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD (preferred)
    • Must possess a valid driver’s license
    • Must complete a background check
    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
    Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
    Master of Science Degree in Engineering (preferred)
     
    SALARY RANGE:
    Horner & Shifrin, Inc. offers a comprehensive total rewards package and is committed to fair, competitive, market-based compensation. The target salary range for this position is $125,000 - $170,000. Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, and geographic location.
