Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Create, process, and manage purchase orders through the company's ERP system.
• 
  
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers while ensuring timely delivery of materials and products.
• 
  
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with operations teams to maintain appropriate stock levels.
• 
  
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and purchasing agreements to maximize value and cost savings.
• 
  
• Assist with sourcing projects, supplier evaluations, and request-for-proposal (RFP) activities.
• 
  
• Analyze supplier performance, lead times, and landed costs to support purchasing decisions.
• 
  
• Resolve purchasing, shipment, and delivery issues as they arise.
• 
  
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, production, and leadership teams to support business objectives.
• 
  

Qualifications

• 
  
• 5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, buying, or supply chain operations.
• 
  
• Experience creating and managing purchase orders in an ERP environment.
• 
  
• Strong vendor management and supplier relationship experience.
• 
  
• Proven ability to negotiate pricing and purchasing agreements.
• 
  
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• 
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• 
  

Preferred Experience

• 
  
• Manufacturing, construction, industrial, or automotive industry experience.
• 
  
• Experience with strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier evaluations.
• 
  
• Epicor ERP experience.
• 
  
• Sage ERP experience.
• 
  
• Experience coordinating or leading RFP processes.
