    Description:

    We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium, Java, and SQL to support Capital Markets applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in functional and automation testing, validating financial market data, developing automation frameworks, and ensuring the quality and performance of enterprise applications. Experience with Capital Markets, FinTech, and AI-powered testing tools is highly preferred.

    Role and Responsibilities:

  • Perform functional, regression, API, and end-to-end automation testing for Capital Markets applications.
  • Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Java or Python.
  • Validate index calculations, benchmark indices, market data, reference data, and financial applications.
  • Execute automated test suites using Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, and related testing frameworks.
  • Perform SQL-based data validation and verify ETL pipelines and database integrity.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools and GenAI/Agentic AI assistants to improve test design, automation, defect analysis, and QA productivity.
  • Work closely with Agile teams to define test strategies, plans, and test cases.
  • Collaborate with Development, Database, Integration, and Support teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Manage QA environments, builds, deployments, and release testing activities.
  • Participate in test strategy reviews, automation code reviews, and continuous process improvements.
  • Communicate testing progress, issues, and risks effectively with business and technical stakeholders.

  • Required Skills:

  • 8+ years of Software QA and Automation Testing experience.
  • Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver.
  • Hands-on experience with Java (Python is also acceptable).
  • Strong SQL skills for data validation.
  • Experience with Cucumber automation framework.
  • Experience testing Capital Markets or FinTech applications.
  • Knowledge of Index/Benchmark methodologies, Asset Management, or Portfolio Management.
  • Experience testing Market Data platforms (Equity, Forex, Options).
  • Experience with ETL validation and database testing.
  • Knowledge of AWS Cloud.
  • Experience with Jenkins, Linux/UNIX, PL/SQL, and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with Carina or Karate frameworks is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AI/GenAI testing tools.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.

  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Automation Testing.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Strong understanding of release testing, deployment, and QA best practices.
  • Ability to work with global teams and business stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale financial applications.
