Senior QA Test Lead

Pay Range: $60.00hr - $65.00hr

Job Overview:

The IT Marketing Solution Services team is looking for an onsite QA / test lead who will play a primary role in the planning and execution of all aspects of testing across multiple web applications within the ecosystem. The role requires hands-on QA expertise and the ability to take initiative and develop / evolve internal QA processes. The candidate will analyze the internal applications landscape and determine what to test, the priority of those tests, and the best way to test. This role requires tight coordination and partnership with business analysts, engineers, and testers both onsite and offshore.

Primary Skills:

• QA Lead: 5+ years.
• Experience in Marketo: 5+ years.
• Experience in Automation: 5+ years.

Secondary Skills:

• Experience in E2C Testing: 3+ years.
• Experience in CRM: 3+ years.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted best practices.
• Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
• Act as key point of contact onsite for all test aspects of releases, providing test services and coordinating with test resources offshore.
• Lead and mentor QA team members as needed.
• Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures (manual and automated).
• Diagnose defects and track them from Client to resolution.
• Partner with engineering teams to stay informed of new technologies being introduced and ensure that system components are designed for testability.
• Partner with offshore team to conduct performance tests as needed.
• Provide testing support during production cutover (releases) as needed.

Required Experience:

• 7+ years' experience in the software testing or Quality Assurance field including hands-on test engineering experience (web application test experience preferred).
• Ability to write select queries and a solid understanding of relational databases.
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures to support various development methodologies.
• Familiarity with the software development life cycle and test cycles (Unit, Regression, Functional, Systems, Stress & Scale, Smoke & Sanity).
• Understanding of multi-tier web application architecture and deployment.
• Understanding of existing QA best practices and methodologies to design, implement, and automate processes.
• Experience working and partnering with an offshore team.
• Experience with Test management tools such as JIRA and test automation tools such as QTP or Selenium.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with marketing automation tools such as HubSpot, Eloqua, ExactTarget, Customer Campaign, or Marketo.
• CRM test experience (Salesforce, Marketo, or Dynamics); web services test experience preferred.
• Quality certifications are a plus.
• Force.com, XML schema validation, or test experience is a plus.
