Senior Quality Engineer (QE) - Insurance Platforms

We are seeking a Quality Engineer (QE) 8-10 years with hands-on experience in Verisk FAST and/or Hexure FireLight & ForeSight platforms. You will validate business rules, e-applications, and policy administration workflows to ensure high-quality software delivery for our life insurance and annuities business.

Core Responsibilities

• Platform Testing: Design and execute functional, regression, and end-to-end test cases within Verisk FAST (Policy Admin) and Hexure FireLight/ForeSight (e-App and Illustrations).
• Integration Validation: Test data flows and APIs linking front-end sales platforms with core administration systems and third-party vendors.
• Rule Verification: Validate complex insurance product configuration rules, dynamic forms, suitability checks, and financial calculations.
• Defect Management: Identify, document, and track software defects in Jira or Azure DevOps, collaborating closely with developers and configurations teams.
• Backend Checking: Run SQL queries to verify data integrity, backend tables, and report outputs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Domain Experience: Strong background in Life Insurance and Annuities workflows.
• Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience testing Verisk FAST and/or Hexure (FireLight/ForeSight) ecosystems.
• Technical Skills: Proficient with SQL and API testing tools like Postman.
• Methodology: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Automation (Preferred): Basic understanding of automation concepts (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, or Cucumber) to help scale test coverage.
