This opportunity suits a proactive headhunter with strong knowledge of the algorithmic trading, high-frequency trading, and quantitative talent markets.

You know which desks compete for the same talent. You can distinguish a quant researcher search from a low-latency engineering mandate. And you know the people worth approaching rarely apply.

We're partnering with a leading global investment bank to hire a recruiter who knows the algo trading, HFT, and quantitative talent markets from the inside.

The remit: help scale a specialist team operating at the intersection of technology, quantitative trading, and financial markets.

Your edge:

• A track record delivering searches across strats, quant research/development, electronic trading, or low-latency technology.
• The ability to map a market, identify the right competitors, and turn a cold approach into a credible conversation.
• Enough technical and commercial fluency to challenge a brief, advise hiring leaders, and engage highly selective candidates.
• Ownership of the search-from first approach through negotiation and close.

Agency, boutique search, or in-house-your route matters less than the searches you've delivered and the market you know.

Profile

• Demonstrated recruitment experience within quantitative trading, HFT, algorithmic trading, or closely related technology markets.
• A strong track record of identifying and securing specialist talent through direct headhunting.
• The technical and commercial understanding to engage credibly with candidates and senior hiring leaders.
• Experience managing multiple specialist searches in a fast-paced environment.
• An agency, executive search, or specialist in-house recruiting background.
