What You'll Do

As a Senior Regional Program Manager (SRPM), you will be the primary Security Advisor for a high-profile global corporate client, providing strategic direction and leadership for the assigned account. You will own the overall account strategy and management, including the development and execution of a comprehensive security program that aligns both Securitas and client goals.

This role oversees a large, complex portfolio of approximately 70 sites, 50,000+ hours per week of service delivery, and a workforce of 1,700+ employees, representing roughly $120M in annual revenue. You will be accountable for the overall health of this portfolio, including client satisfaction, operational performance, and financial results.

Success in this role depends on your ability to stay focused on long‑term strategy, program design, and stakeholder alignment, while effectively leveraging your team and available resources to manage day‑to‑day operations.

Strategic Leadership

  • Serve as the primary Security Advisor and key point of contact to ensure the delivery of high-quality customer service for assigned accounts.
  • Provide strategic direction for the security program, continuously improving and evolving program design and leadership.
  • Lead the client in the evaluation of global security needs and determine feasibility of requested or desired services.
  • Demonstrate understanding of and ability to operate in a global business environment.
  • Maintain a strong in‑person presence with the client and key stakeholders, using regular face‑to‑face engagement to build connection, anticipate issues, and drive alignment.
  • Stay focused on strategic priorities and program outcomes, relying on your team and available resources to manage operational details.

Financial Management

  • Hold full P&L ownership for the account; analyze operational and financial indicators to continuously improve overall performance.
  • Manage and support client strategic budget preparation for guard services and security system deployments.
  • Ensure contract compliance and support retention of profitable business across the portfolio.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., finance, operations, GCA leadership) to align financial performance with client expectations and Securitas goals.

Client & Stakeholder Relations

  • Lead the re‑attainment and strengthening of client and customer relationships, rebuilding trust where needed and deepening engagement with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate activity and inform Global Clients Americas (GCA) Vice President on respective accounts to provide the highest level of service.
  • Meet regularly with client and Securitas management representatives for account reviews and strategic planning.
  • Address actual or potential problems and initiate timely communication and corrective actions.
  • Assist in preparation of RFP responses and provide support during client start-ups and transitions.
  • Navigate and align with both Securitas processes and the client's corporate processes, ensuring that program decisions and recommendations fit within each organization's ways of working.
  • Develop a global service network for client locations and establish strong relationships with Securitas branches and alliance partners.

Operational Excellence

  • Coordinate and perform Security Risk Reviews of client facilities using industry best practices and client-specific assessment tools.
  • Implement and manage global safety programs; coordinate with the client to support special events or emergency coverage as needed.
  • Ensure branches maintain a consistent focus on high-quality customer service; provide guidance and support in the retention of profitable business.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels in collaboration with area management; oversee effective scheduling to meet client requirements while controlling labor costs.
  • Coordinate, monitor, and evaluate global service delivery; develop global best practices and apply the GCA model to global service delivery.
  • Support security planning, assessments, and surveys; coordinate review and update of global and local post orders.
  • Know and leverage the resources within your portfolio and broader Securitas team, relying on subject matter experts and local leaders to execute operational plans.

Crisis Management & Special Events

  • Support special events and high‑visibility activities (e.g., protests, executive visits, major corporate events) by ensuring appropriate security presence, professionalism, and risk awareness.
  • While not always the direct operational lead during events, maintain oversight, understand the criticality of each event, and ensure the right posture, escalation, and communication are in place.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment in issue identification and escalation, knowing when to involve senior leadership or client stakeholders to protect people, assets, and reputation.
  • Maintain composure and professionalism in unusual or high‑pressure circumstances, representing both Securitas and the client with a calm, solutions‑oriented approach.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Innovate to improve current working practices, products, and technologies to create business opportunities and results.
  • Bring an outside‑in view, challenging the status quo and proposing new approaches that enhance security, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
  • Achieve results by setting goals using quality planning, analysis, and decision making.
  • Take initiative to identify current and potential problems and determine the best solutions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Who You Are

You bring a service-first mindset, clear communication skills, strong attention to detail, and sound judgment when approaching challenges. You are solutions-focused and thrive in both independent and team settings, especially in complex, fast-paced environments.

You thrive in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment where many priorities cross your desk at once. You bring a strong work ethic and are willing to go above and beyond when needed, while also knowing how to delegate effectively, trust your team, and avoid getting pulled too deeply into day‑to‑day tasks. You are not overly meticulous to the point of bottlenecking work; instead, you focus on what matters most and empower others to execute.

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • At least 8-10 years of management experience, preferably in security, military, law enforcement, hospitality, retail, or service industries.
  • Prior military, security, or law enforcement experience is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated competencies in financial management, leadership, and business administration.
  • Ability to travel frequently within Canada and the United States.
  • Ability to manage sensitive, confidential information with discretion.

Technical and Job-Specific Skills

  • Strong security and business management experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of security operations and procedures.
  • Strong understanding of security risk management and protective strategies.
  • Experience with security assessments, incident response, and crisis management.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budget planning and forecasting.
  • Ability to interpret, track, and maintain schedules, metrics, and performance indicators.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office and data visualization tools.

Experience that Sets You Apart

  • Proven track record in strategic thinking, operational analysis, and innovative problem-solving.
  • Experience leading diverse teams and managing complex, multi-site projects or programs.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead large, distributed teams.
  • Strong team collaboration and client-centric mindset.
  • Capacity to maintain composure and professionalism in unusual or high-pressure circumstances.
  • Adaptability to rapidly changing environments or assignments.
  • Comfort working within and across large corporate environments and navigating complex stakeholder landscapes.

Why You Would Want to Join the Team

  • Opportunity to make an impact on a high-profile global client's corporate security program.
  • Responsibility for a large, complex portfolio with significant visibility and influence.
  • Exposure to executive leadership, both within Securitas and the client organization.
  • Career growth and development opportunities within a global security leader.
  • Collaborative team culture and strong leadership support from Global Clients Americas.
