Title: Senior Relationship Manager, Cross Border Banking

Office Status: Hybrid Houston, TX

Base Salary: Up to $150k + Discretionary Bonus

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a senior relationship management opportunity within the Cross Border Banking group of a well-established and growing financial institution, with a primary focus on US-Greater China market connectivity and nearshoring opportunities. The role offers true business development ownership building and managing a diverse portfolio of complex cross-border clients while serving as both a trusted client advisor and an internal resource for product and credit expertise. It's an ideal fit for a seasoned RM with deep roots in cross-border and international banking who brings an established network, strong credit instincts, and the ability to operate independently at the highest level of client engagement.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead business development and portfolio growth for cross-border banking clients, with a primary focus on Greater China markets and US-China corridor opportunities including nearshoring
  • Build, manage, and deepen relationships with a large, diverse, and complex portfolio of cross-border clients across the US and international markets
  • Act as a strategic consultant to clients, identifying financial needs and delivering tailored banking solutions across lending, treasury, and other product lines
  • Perform and oversee underwriting and forecasting for all loan transactions, maintaining a high standard of work product quality and consistency
  • Demonstrate deep product and operational knowledge across corporate finance, C&I lending, and cross-border banking products
  • Attain established individual, departmental, and institutional financial production goals
  • Leverage an existing network and high degree of independence to originate new relationships and expand wallet share within the target market
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to structure and execute complex transactions
