    Description

    The Senior Reporting Analyst is a newly created role within the Corporate Reporting team, designed to strengthen analytical depth, financial reporting accuracy, and accounting research capabilities. This position will play a key role in preparing monthly financial and management reporting packages, researching accounting issues, and supporting evolving business needs through detailed analysis and ad hoc reporting.

    The ideal candidate is analytical, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where priorities may shift. This role is well-suited for a candidate directly from public accounting or with 2–3 years of relevant experience seeking to transition into a corporate reporting environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare and compile monthly financial reporting packages for executive leadership and corporate stakeholders

    • Develop and maintain management reports, including a comprehensive monthly report prepared for business leadership meetings

    • Research accounting issues and provide technical guidance aligned with applicable accounting standards

    • Perform account reconciliations and support accuracy of financial data

    • Assist in the preparation of corporate reporting deliverables

    • Respond to ad hoc reporting requests with timely, accurate, and insightful analysis

    • Partner cross-functionally to gather data and ensure completeness and consistency of reporting

    • Support process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy

    • Demonstrate flexibility to support evolving job responsibilities as business needs change

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

    • 2–3 years of experience in public accounting or a corporate accounting/reporting environment

    • Strong accounting research skills and understanding of U.S. GAAP

    • Experience with account reconciliations and financial analysis

    • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities

    • Ability to manage deadlines and balance multiple priorities

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    • Japanese language proficiency preferred

    Preferred Profile

    • Background in public accounting with exposure to technical research

    • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail

    • Comfortable presenting and explaining financial data to leadership

    • Adaptable, proactive, and willing to take on evolving responsibilities

    • Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset
