To serve as a key member of the fiscal research administration team, providing critical support to our researchers conducting groundbreaking research across a wide range of fields, including:
• Plasma science • Plasma fusion • Physics • Data science • Engineering • Magnetics • Nuclear magnetic imaging • Cryogenics • Geothermal engineering
The PSFC has an annual research volume of $45 million. As a senior research administrator, you will serve as an advisor and primary point of contact on complex pre- and post-award sponsored program activities, and provide cradle to grave contract, grant, gift, and fund policy and financial management for faculty and principal investigators (PIs).
Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing training, guidance, and support on all pre- and post-award activities for an assigned portfolio of PIs and their research groups • Collaborating on developing solutions for non-standard issues and solving operational matters that impact efficient and effective handling of proposal preparation and submission • Serving as a backup for others on the research administration team when needed • Working with the Assistant Director and fiscal research administration team to provide support and guidance on all pre- and post-award activities
As a senior research administrator, you will play a critical role in supporting the research administration team and ensuring the efficient and effective handling of proposal preparation and submission.
